The Central Election Commission (CEC) will file an application to the state-run Information Resources Center Registru” to ask for information about the provision of temporary residence in a number of settlements, IPN reports.
On June 12, CEC president Iurie Ciocan said the Commission received a number of notifications, being informed that temporary residence is provided in a number of settlements before the local elections. They will also ask for information about the provision of loose leaves that accompany the identity cards.
Among the settlements from which notifications came are Soroca, Bacioi, Stauceni, and Sangera.
