CEC starts to print ballots for Bălți runoff

The Central Election Commission began to print ballots for the Bălți mayoral runoff. The ballots contain the names of two electoral contenders: Nicolai Grigorișin, independent candidate, and Nicolae Chirilciuc, the candidate of the Party “Moldova’s Patriots”, IPN reports.

According to the Commission, 102,105 ballots will be printed for the runoff and 51,988 of these will be in Romanian, while 50,117 will be in Russian.

The ballots are printed on matte violet paper and will be 128 mm long and 140 mm wide.

The cost of a ballot is 0.24 lei, while the value of the print run is 24,502.20 lei.

The runoff in the municipality of Bălți will take place on December 19, 2021.
