CEC starts procedure for validating three seats of MP

The Central Election Commission (CEC) requested the Constitutional Court to validate the seats of three lawmakers, who are substitute candidates on the Communist Party’s list, Info-Prim Neo reports. The three MPs are: Mihail Mocan, chairman of the Union of Afghan War Veterans, Igor Vremea, a member of the CEC, and Ion Ceban, head of the Deputy Head of Parliament’s Cabinet. They will replace former lawmakers Vasili Panciuc, Elena Bodnarenko and Serghei Filipov, who renounced their seats on July 28, 2011.
