The Central Election Commission (CEC) said it placed the scanned version of the originals of electoral offices’ reports on the counting of votes cast in the February 24, 2019 parliamentary elections on www.cec.md. This way, those interested can consult the election results in each polling place and electoral constituency established in the country or outside it, IPN reports.

The CEC urges those who will identify discrepancies between the versions held by the institution and those issued or made public by inferior electoral bodies to write to MD-2012, Chisinau, 119 Vasile Alecsandri St or to the email address info@cec.md.

The CEC reminds that the reports were presented to the institution by the electoral councils within 48 hours of the closing of polling stations. For the parliamentary elections and the national consultative referendum, the electoral councils and electoral offices compiled 8,768 vote reports.

On March 4, the CEC submitted the documents needed for confirming the results of the February 24 legislative elections to the Constitutional Court. In its March 9 meeting, the Court confirmed the legality of the parliamentary elections and validated the seats of MP.
