The Central Electoral Commission has decided on the value of interest-free credits that the electoral competitors can access for the general local elections on October 20, 2019. Thus, political parties, social-political organizations and electoral blocs will be able to request up to 50 thousand lei, while each independent candidate - 10 thousand lei. CEC has approved a decision in this regard at its meeting on September 3, IPN reports.
The regulation on granting interest-free credits to the electoral competitors for conducting electoral campaign shall be approved by the Ministry of Finance.
