The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has established the limit of the amount of money that can be used by parties for the elections and the amount of the loan that can be offered to electoral competitors in the parliamentary elections of July 29, 2009, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from a communique on the results of the CEC's last sitting.
That limit is 7,5 million lei for parties, and 500,000 for independent candidates. The no-interest loan that can be offered by the state is 25,000 lei for political parties and 3,000 lei for independent candidates.
The CEC has also approved the number of promoters that the electoral contestants can have in each of those 37 electoral constituencies: from 10 to 50. The CEC also established the number of electoral judges that have to abandon their permanent jobs and the staff of constituency electoral boards.
