CEC completes procedure for registering competitors in national constituency

The Central Election Commission on January 30 finished the procedure for registering electoral contenders in the national constituency. Thus, 15 political parties, political movements and electoral blocs will run in the parliamentary elections of February 24, IPN reports.

According to the order decided by draw, the Democratic Party tops the list of contenders on the ballot. It is followed by the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS, the Party of Communists, the Party of Socialists, the Shor Party, the People’s Movement “Antimafie” and the Political Party “Our Party”.

The National Liberal Party will be under No. 8 on the ballot, the “People’s Will” Party under No. 9, the Party of Regions under No. 10, the Party “Democracy at Home” under No. 11, the Professionals’ Movement “Speranţa-Nadejda” under No. 12, the Political Party “Patria” under No.13, the Ecologist Green Party under No. 14, and the Liberal Party under No. 15.

On January 31, the CEC will announce the number of candidates who will run in single-member constituencies.
