CEC authorises mandate of municipal councillor

On Tuesday, January 16, the Central Election Commission has granted authorisation to Iulian Condur, the following person on the list of the Democratic Christian People’s Party (PPCD), to serve as councillor of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC). Condur has earned his office as councillor after former councillor Eugenia Bulat had declined her councillorship and membership in the party in response to what she called “antidemocratic tricks” used when CMC decided to auction off “Antena C” and “Euro TV” media institutions. Earlier, Iulian Condur held the office of vice president of PPCD’s “Young Generation”, and then was excluded from PPCD.
