CEC announces phone numbers for additional information about referendum

The Moldovan people can obtain additional information about the September 5 constitutional referendum on the free phone number 0800 08888 from any settlement or +373 22 540488 (ordinary price) for the people who are abroad. The calls can be made from Monday through Friday between 8am and 5mp, with a break from 12pm to 1pm, Moldova’s hour, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Central Election Commission’s press service. The Commission says no challenges or complaints can be made on this phone numbers. The deadline for the submission of the statement is August 5. All the persons eligible to vote who changed the place of residence after the last elections must inform the local public administration about the new address so as to be included in the electoral rolls of the polling place opened in the place where one lives. The statement is filed personally by the applicant who must present the identity card with the accompanying loose leave in original and a copy. The statements lodged for the July 29, 2009 elections are not valid.
