CEC announces partial poll results after processing 95% of ballots

After processing circa 95% of the information presented to the Central Election Commission (CEC) by the polling stations throughout Moldova, the candidates of the Party of Communists and of the Moldova Noastra Alliance continue to be the best scorers of the June 3 elections.
According to preliminary data on valid votes cast for mayors, the representatives of PCRM polled 30.29%. They are followed by AMN
(16.13%), the Democrat Party (10.5%), the Christian-Democrat People’s Party (7.19%), The Social Democracy Party (4.41%), the Social-Democrat Party (3.58%), the Social-Liberal Party (3.05%), the Republican People’s Party (2.89%), The Electoral Bloc “Patria-Rodina-Ravnopravie” – 1.77%, the Centrist Union of Moldova (1.68%), the Liberal Party (1,35%). The other political parties received less than 1%. The independent candidates collected a total of 14.34% of the votes counted.
According to the preliminary results of votes cast for town/village councillors, PCRM collected 33.5%, AMN – 17.52%, PDM – 11.29%, PPCD – 8.28%, PDS – 4.56%, PSL – 3.28%, PSDM – 3.56%, PPR – 3.07%, BEPРР – 1.79%, UCM – 1.56%, PL – 1.51%. The other political parties received less than 1%. The independent candidates collected a total of 7.6%.
The situation concerning the votes cast for municipal/district councillors does not differ too much. The first positions are held by PCRM – 34.62%, AMN – 16.85%, PDM – 9.89%, PPCD – 8.51%, PL – 4.76%, PDS – 4.73, PSD- 3.81, PSL – 3.1, PPR – 2.32, BEPRR – 1.79. The independent candidates for municipal/district councillors collected 4.23%.
CEC informs that up to this moment complete data are missing from the municipality of Chisinau and 6 districts, with Causeni and Ungheni presenting roughly a half of information.
