CC rejects Communists’ application to exempt Alexandru Tanase from deliberations

The Constitutional Court (CC) dismissed as groundless the Communist MPs Sergiu Sarbu’s and Artur Reshetnikov’s application to exclude the Court’s chairman Alexandru Tanase from the deliberations on the election outcome, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Communist lawmakers argued that Alexandru Tanase pronounced on the matter in an interview for a radio station and suggested the decision that is to be taken by the judges. The meeting where the results of the March 16 presidential elections are examined involves all the judges of the CC.
