Casmed volunteers will give toys to disadvantaged children

Two volunteers of the NGO Casmed, dressed as Santa, will distribute plush toys to children with disabilities or from disadvantaged families on December 18 and 19. The toys have been gathered as part of the campaign “A smile for every child”, IPN reports.

On December 18, the Casmed volunteers will travel to Falesti district, where they will visit the community centers for children in Glinjeni village and Ciolacu Nou commune, as well as the kindergartens in the commune. On December 19, the Santas will stop at the Center for placement of children in risk situations “Road to Home”, the Emergency Children Receiving Center “Evrika”, the Family Crisis Center “Sotis”, the Center for people with mental health problems “Socium” and the Center for children and youth with mixed serious disabilities “Danko”, all in Balti.

The Center of Socio-Medical Home Care “Casmed” is an NGO that provides socio-medical services of home care in Balti Municipality and 16 other towns and villages in northern districts for elderly people, bed-ridden persons and those with special needs.
