A car caught fire and burned almost completely on Independentei St in Chisinau. One of the examined versions is that the fire was caused by a short circuit, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan has told IPN.
The fire was put out in almost ten minutes. The firemen managed to prevent the spread of the fire to the power lines located nearby. No one was hurt.
Firefighters recommend the drivers to call specialists when the vehicle malfunctions and to always have a fire extinguisher with them.
