The United Arab Emirates lifted the ban imposed on cargo airlines of the Republic of Moldova, the Civil Aviation Authority has said. Flights to and from the United Arab Emirate can be operated starting with February 1, 2022, 00.01am, local time.
Irina Bodolica, senior specialist of the Civil Aviation Authority’s Public Relations Service, has told IPN that the ban was imposed in January 2020, initially for a period of six months, but wasn’t lifted when this period expired. Now the United Arab Emirates informed the Authority that all the restrictions will be lifted on February 1.
Irina Bodolica noted that the Authority made a number of requests to lift the ban, presenting information about the made progress and about the national airlines that were removed from the EU Air Safety List.
