Carabineer Troops commander dismissed by presidential decree

Andrei Shumleanski was discharged from the post of commander of the Carabineer Troops under a decree issued by Moldova's Acting President Mihai Ghimpu, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the presidential press service. Andrei Shumleanski was named to the post in 2007, simultaneously with his appointment as deputy minister of the interior. On October 19, the Government accepted Andrei Shumleanski's resignation from the position of deputy minister of the interior.
