Car strikes fatally three-year-old

A three-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by a car in Drujba village of Ungheni district on Sunday evening, Ion Roscovan, senior inspector at the Ministry of the Interior's Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo. The boy was waking together with his grandfather when he was struck by the car. He died on the way to the hospital of Cornesti town. The traffic police warn the parents not to leave the children without supervision and not to allow them to go sledging near roadway. The drivers are asked to obey the traffic rules and observe the distance between the vehicles so as to avoid accidents and fatalities.
