Capital’s budget accumulations rose significantly

In the first semester of this year, the municipal budget has received inputs of 22% bigger than in the same period of the previous year. Compared with the expectations the increase is of 3.4%. Thus, the first semester has brought to the local coffers MDL 588.9 mln., by MDL 105.5 mln. more than in the first 6 months of 2005. According to the City Hall PR service, quoted by IPN, the daily average accumulations constituted MDL 4.7 mln compared with MDL 3.8 mil. in the same period of the previous year. The incomes covered expenses at a 78% rate. In the first 6 months, paying salaries and leaves for budgetary employees, children’s summer vacation, paying the services provided by municipal enterprises regarding transportation, maintenance etc. capital investments benefited of full coverage. At the same time, transfers to local budgets of the localities within Chisinau municipality were exhaustively performed. Also the loans for compensating budgetary deficit were reimbursed.
