Capital police organises raids against housebreaking on 6-11 March

On 6-11 March, the capital police organises special raids in order to prevent housebreakings and apartment breakings. The head of municipal police, Petru Corduneanu, said that the raids have the goal to prophylaxis and discover the housebreakings. In this aim, according to a plan, patrol and sentinel groups Scut and mobile teams 902 will react promptly after getting the information about the housebreaking, to arrest flagrantly the thieves. In the same time, the inspectors of road police, especially the mobile teams and the stations at the entering and getting out of municipality Chisinau, will undertake cars’ checking, in order to find stolen goods. More than this, the policemen will check the markets and selling places of goods to find stolen things. Petru Corduneanu noted that the raids were started after the analysis the offence situation regarding these matters. Therefore, in the first two months of this year on the territory of the municipality Chisinau there were registered 104 housebreakings. In the same period there were registered 371 housebreakings in the country.
