The Parliament’s legal commission for appointments and immunities selected the candidates for member of the Superior Council of Magistracy and of the Superior Council of Prosecutors as a result of the interviews conducted on December 13, IPN reports.
According to the Parliament’s press service, Mariana Timotin, Ian Postu and Sergey Turcanu were chosen for member of the Superior Council of Magistracy, while Lilia Margineanu for member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors. The legal commission for appointments and immunities will propose the selected candidates to Parliament for examination and confirmation.
Eight persons applied for the post of Superior Council of Magistracy member and two for the Superior Council of Prosecutors member during December 4-11, 2017.
