The candidate for mayor of the municipality of Balti on behalf of the Party “Common Action – Civic Congress” exercised his right to vote. “It was easy! It is so when you are confident and don’t lose hope and when you firmly know that despair is a mortal sin!” Mark Tkaciuk posted on the party’s Facebook page, IPN reports.
Voting ends at 9 p.m.
More than 10,000 people voted at polling stations in the municipality of Balti by 11 a.m. This is over 10% of the voting-age citizens.
The threshold for local elections is ¼ of the voting-age citizens.
