The Center for Continuous Electoral Training and the Central Election Commission have launched a Call Center for the election period with the single telephone number (+373) 22 880101, IPN reports, quoting the Commission.
The operators of the Call Center will provide the necessary assistance to officials responsible for voter rolls within the local public authorities and to members of the inferior electoral bodies in uniformly applying the procedures for managing the State Register of Voters.
The information line works from Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. Currently, the Call Center includes 20 operators and a trainer of the Center for Continuous Electoral Training. On November 29 and 30 and on December 1, the number of operators will be trebled, while the work program will be extended to 24 hours.
An ordinary charge will be paid on a call to the Call Center from the mobile phone or a landline telephone from any settlement of Moldova. The service will be available until December 8.
The Call Center was set up with the support of the UNDP Moldova Democracy Program/Elections, which is finance by the Government of Sweden.
