Prime Minister Pavel Filip for February 27 called a Cabinet meeting after a pause of two weeks before the parliamentary elections of February 24, IPN reports.
The agenda with over 30 issues that are to be discussed in the meeting was published on the Government’s website. These include the amendment of an annex to the Government decision of 2002 concerning the payment of salaries to employees of institutions with financial self-government. The ministers will also approve the modification of the annex to the Government decision regarding the nominal makeup of the Moldovan delegation to the commission for the stable use and protection of the Nistru River basin.
Another draft decision refers to the creation of the public institution State Chamber for Marking Surveillance. There will be examined a decision on the state order for the professional development of public functionaries in 2019.
The Cabinet is to also amend the decision concerning the approval of the regulations on the payment of financial assistance and the decision to amend the procedures for setting the costs for maintaining persons in social institutions.
For the period of the election campaign, five ministers were suspended. Four of them will enter Parliament according to the preliminary election results.
