The reshuffles in the Cabinet of Ministers led by Dorin Recean will be made public next week. The Prime Minister said that on Monday, November 18, he will hold a press conference where he will make the necessary announcements, IPN reports.
"In these days after the elections, together with other people, we analyzed and discussed the changes we need to make in the government and who exactly should lead the effort towards these changes. Next Monday, November 18, I will give a press conference where I will announce the respective changes," Dorin Recean said at the beginning of the Government meeting.
Before the runoff presidential election, Maia Sandu spoke about Cabinet reshuffles that are projected to be made by the end of this year. During an electoral debate, the official admitted that there are outstanding areas in the work of the executive, which will lead to reshuffles in the near future. The head of state said that if some members of the government team broke the law, the state institutions are encouraged to take a stand and penalize any abuse.
A week ago, Premier Recean said that he would announce changes in the executive within 10 days, but this did not happen. However, during this period, Andrei Spînu tendered his resignation from the position of Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
