The Cabinet approved the information security strategy of Moldova, which stipulates a series of measures aimed at counteracting and preventing threats that appear together with the rapid development of technology. This is designed to protect the interests of persons, society and the state in the information area and to ensure information security, IPN reports.
Under the strategy, a system will be created to collect and analyze data about possible threats to the information security and their consequences. The system for training specialists in the field will be improved. A series of legislative changes will be worked out to adjust the legislation of Moldova to the new provisions.
The strategy is to be transmitted to Parliament for adoption.
