A number of 45 business entities based in Chisinau municipality have outstanding debts for water of 3.7 million lei, but do not hurry to clear them. These discharge wastewater with a high concentration of pollutants and do not pay for the services provided by SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the water supplier.
As two companies didn’t honor their obligations on time, they were disconnected from the water supply system. Another nine companies are in litigation with SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”. A business entity filed an application to pay the debts in installments and this was accepted, while another 33 businesses are to be disconnected from the supply of water during the next few days.
The supplier said two of the 45 business entities collected debts totaling 2.4 million lei.
The administration of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” calls on those who have debts to repay them in the shortest time possible so as to further benefit from the provided services or they will remain without water and will have to pay a charge for being reconnected.
