A bus that was transporting workers to a factory collided with a truck on the Balti-Sarateni road near Mandrestii Noi village of Sangerei district in the morning of March 21. Three persons suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Sangerei Police Inspectorate Vasile Vulpe said that according to preliminary reports, in conditions of poor visibility owing to fog, the bus driver aged 33 didn’t respect the distance and ran into the truck from behind. As a result of the impact, three passengers of the bus sustained minor injuries.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, there were about 30 persons in the bus. Two SMURD vehicles and a team of the Mobile Reanimation and Extrication Service of northern Moldova travelled to the scene. Those hurt were transported to the hospital.
