The residents of Chisinau will be obliged to store the bulky waste selectively, in containers marked correspondingly that will be located in specially outfitted places. The bulky waste includes furniture and parts of furniture, domestic appliances, electronic and electrical waste. Periodically, the waste management operator will transport this waste to storage and recycling points.
This is provided in the draft regulations concerning cleanup and ensuring of cleanness in Chisinau city that were proposed for public debates by the General Public Amenities Division, IPN reports. Under the draft, the collection containers will be placed near apartment buildings so as not to cause discomfort to dwellers and so as to make sure that the cleanup services have access to them.
The bulky refuse could also be picked directly from the population based on an application to the waste management operator.
