Bulgaria’s president to visit Moldova

The President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov is paying an official visit to Moldova on March 12 and 13, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press unit of the Moldovan Presidential Hall.
The Bulgarian President will meet with Moldova’s President Vladimir Voronin. Then, the two delegations will have a meeting in extended format. Georgi Parvanov will be awarded an honor during a solemn ceremony. Afterward, the two heads of state will make statements for the press.
On the same day, Georgi Pyrvanov will lay flowers to the monument to Stefan cel Mare si Sfant and to the monument dedicated to Bulgarian volunteers located in Chisinau. In the afternoon, the President of Bulgaria will take part in the inauguration of the Cultural and Information Center at the Slavonic University. On Thursday evening, a ceremony will be held at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova to confer the title of Doctor Honoris Causa on Georgi Parvanov.
On Friday, March 13, Vladimir Voronin and Georgi Parvanov will pay a visit to Taraclia town. The Bulgarian President will lay flowers to the monument to Olimpii Panov and will visit the State University in Taraclia. In the afternoon, Georgi Pyrvanov will leave for Sofia.
