Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivalo Kalfin to visit Chisinau

From May 29 to 30 , the vice prime-minister, the minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ivalo Kalfin, who will be officially paying a visit to the Republic of Moldova, on the initiative of his Moldovan counterpart, Andrei Stratan. Since establishing diplomatic relationships between Moldova and Bulgaria this is the first official visit of the Bulgarian minister of foreign affairs to Chisinau. According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, during the visit, the head of the Bulgarian diplomacy will meet with the president of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin, the prime-minister, Vasile Tarlev, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Commission, Sergiu Stati, the vice prime-minister and at the same time the minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Stratan. The heads of the two diplomacies will discuss different subjects regarding Moldovan-Bulgarian coopperation. The main subject of the bilateral talks will be the European Integration theme, taking into consideration the interest of the Republic of Moldova for joining EU and the relevant experience of Bulgaria in this sense. Developing the relationships with the Bulgarian people from the Republic of Moldova will be discussed within the meeting with the Chairman of the Office of Interethnic Relationships.
