Update: The Buiucani Court of Chisinau resumed its work program. The bomb scare turned out to be a hoax as no explosives were found during checks. Measures are being taken to identify the caller.
A person called the 112 Emergency Service and informed that a bomb has been planted at the Buiucani Court of Chisinau. The court employees and visitors were evacuated, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said the call to the 112 Service was made by a woman at about 11am. All the specialized services travelled to the scene and are conducting examinations.
Intentional misleading about an act of terrorism is punished with a fine of 27,500 to 42,500 lei or 180 to 240 hours of community service or a maximum jail term of two years.
