The building of the public company “Teleradio-Moldova” was vandalized last night. The entrance doors of the institution were splashed with red paint.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Svetlana Scripnic said that the case was documented by the Centru Police Inspectorate. Measures are currently being taken to identify the perpetrators.
The police on Friday announced that two persons, who were trained in Moscow and were paid large sums of money to vandalize state institutions in the Republic of Moldova with the aim of destabilization, were detained. These are a 21-year-old man, who was caught in the central park of Chisinau, and a 20-year-old man, who was Apprehended in the vicinity of the Parliament Building. In the first vandalization attempt, a group of people threw paint at the entrance to the building of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Shortly afterward, the same thing happened at the Government Building.
On Friday, a series of searches were conducted at the homes of four persons. There were seized a number of cans of paint, gloves, cards, identity documents confirming that they travelled in the Russian Federation, as well as other objects that can serve as evidence in the criminal case.
