Budget of TRM for opening a bureau in Brussels is richer by MDL 600 thousand

The Parliament recently approved to supplement by MDL 600 thousand to “Teleradio-Moldova” Company for opening a bureau of correspondents in Brussels, Belgium. Solicited by Info-Prim Neo, Adela Raielanu, director of the Moldova 1 TV station, told that at present the correspondents of the company already activate in Brussels and Bucharest, where they are already sending reportages from. The accreditation letters are ready by now and at present there are made offers for equipping the office, Raileanu said. This procedure is more complicated, Raileanu says, because everything is made through public acquisitions. The offers for the necessities of the office were presented and they are waiting for the results of the tender. Raileanu failed to name the total sum of expenses, saying that at present these data are being estimated. The director of M1 said that the possibility of opening bureaus in Moscow, Kiev and Lisbon, cities with the highest number of Moldovan citizens. The Council of Observers of TRM approved on March 17, 2006 the decision of the Company’s Administration Council to inaugurate bureaus of correspondents in Brussels, Bucharest and Moscow, under the condition to evaluate the possibility of creating such offices in other capitals, too.
