The budget of state social insurances for 2007 is estimated at about MDL 4.9 mln, by MDL 454 mln or 10% more compared to the planned incomes for 2006. The head of the National House of Social Insurances, Maria Borta, declared at a Governmental meeting on Wednesday that the main part of the incomes of the Social Insurances Budget in 2007 will remain the state social insurance contributions, which amount to MDL 4.13 mln, increased by MDL 339.3 mln or 8.9%. Total expenses of the budgets are evaluated at the total sum of MDL 5.078 bln, by MDL 574 mln or 12% more compared with last year. The main resources will be spent for state social insurances, which are estimated at MDL 4.3 bln, by 10.7% more compared with 2006. Maria Borta says that that the state social insurance pensions and invalidity indemnities for work accidents or professional diseases, the allowances of the participants in operations on liquidating consequences of the accident from Chernobyl will be increased 18.25% in 2007. As well, allocations for disabled persons since childhood and for invalid children of 1st degree up to 16 year old will be increased from MDL 122 to 150 for 15.3 thousand beneficiaries. For 2007 budgetary year is estimated that expenses will exceed incomes by MDL 120 mln, but this difference will be formed out of the unused budgetary resource from previous years.
