The Government's work plan for the first quarter includes six draft strategies and national programs, 20 bills and 25 draft secondary acts, Info-Prim Neo reports. The executive plans to approve the national energy efficiency program for 2011-2020, the national plan on the creation of the national ecological network, the plan of action on the implementation of the national integrated state border management strategy for 2011-2013, and the national program on the development of emergency medical assistance for 2011-2015. There will be also approved the program on the utilization of new lands and improvement of soil fertility for 2011, and the national anticorruption strategy for 2011- 2015. The strategy for switching over from analogous television to digital terrestrial television for 2011 was approved in last week's meeting of the Government. The draft budget law for 2011 is to be examined and approved early in March. Among other bills that will be agreed are bills on the post office, the public water and sewerage system, and the water, which are very important for the successful implementation of the Compact Program that is financed by the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation. The Government is also to approve the new Education Code. The secondary acts to be approved include decisions on the creation of the Archeology Agency, the creation of the Council for the Promotion of Investment Projects, the regulations concerning the cooperation between education institutions and public parents' associations, the indexation of state social insurance contributions, and others.
