The salaries of the employees with low pays working in the medical-sanitary sphere, social assistance, science, culture, and sport will be increased from June 1, 2013. The decision was taken by the Government on April 17, IPN reports.
Acting Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga said the pays of the employees from the 1-7 salary category will be raised by 100 lei, while for those from the 8-25 category – by up to 170 lei.
More than 100,000 salary earners will benefit from pay raises. A sum of 153 million lei was planned in the state budget for the purpose.
