The Sector 1 Municipal Hall of Bucharest will offer Chisinau €1 million worth of grants for repairing the granite stair in the Park “Valea Morilor”.
Under the draft decision approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council, the stair will be fully restored and will be lit, while the adjoining area will be laid out, IPN reports.
“We plan to remove the granite steps, to polish them and to restore them. We will then put them back. We will buy additional material for the missing granite steps,” said acting head of Centru district of Chisinau Pavel Rusu.
The works are to be executed at night during almost a year, until March 2019. The local public authorities of Chisinau will cover the project designing and examination costs.
