The Ministry of Education and Research has taken the matter into its own investigation into the death of the boy from Bubuieci. If the existence of bullying and the lack of appropriate measures by the institution are confirmed, disciplinary sanctions will be applied, IPN reports.

Representatives of the ministry went to the scene and talked with teachers at the institution where the pupil was studying. Discussions will also be organized with parents and students immediately after their return from vacation.

The case will also be referred to the Ethics Committee for examination and, if necessary, a proposal will be made to withdraw the managerial and teaching grade of the persons responsible.

The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to preventing and combating violence in the school environment by strengthening intervention mechanisms, training teachers and holding institutional management accountable.

The municipal authorities, likewise, have taken action following the tragic incident in Bubuieci. "We are responsibly analyzing all the relevant information and are working closely with the authorities to clarify the circumstances," said the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau City Hall.

According to the Directorate, the administration of the high school has implemented measures for the safety of students, including their supervision, enforcement of internal regulations and organization of risk prevention activities. Psychological counseling sessions and educational discussions were also held to raise awareness of dangers and the importance of personal protection.

"Active dialog with parents and local authorities remains essential to identify and manage risks in a timely manner," DGETS emphasized.

The mother of the 13-year-old boy from Bubuieci, who died at the Institute of Mother and Child, has lodged a complaint with the police. Relatives of the deceased claim that he was the victim of bullying at school and accuse the medical institutions where the boy was hospitalized of negligence. The child, with a leg trauma, was initially treated at the Municipal Children's Clinical Hospital "Valentin Ignatenco". He was later transferred in serious condition to the Institute of Mother and Child, where he died on February 25.
