The laws passed by the Liberal-Democratic and Communist MPs last week are inappropriate, the way in which they were adopted is not in accordance with the rules and Brussels is concerned about a so-called monstrous coalition with the PCRM ahead, stated political analyst Viorel Cibotaru. In the program “Moldova Live” on the public TV channel, the analyst said the leader of the PCRM Vladimir Voronin disengages himself from Europe by criticizing a lot the statements made by European officials, IPN reports.

“There are many dangers threatening. The politicians work in manual regime, consult no one, take decisions vey quickly and it is evident that the people fight for physical survival. This is serious for the political situation,” said Viorel Cibotaru.

On May 3, the lawmakers of the PLDM and PCRM voted together a package of laws. A number of European officials reacted, urging the political class to abandon the party and personal interests. They recommended the head of state not to promulgate the adopted laws. They referred to the amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court which enable Parliament to fire constitutional judges, the Law on the Government by which the powers of the interim Premier and acting Cabinet are extended, the Law on the National Anticorruption Center that was transferred back from Parliament to Government, and the changes to the Election Code whereby the election threshold was increased.
