Broadcasting regulator to monitor quality of language spoken on radio

The Broadcasting Coordination Council will monitor 15 national radio stations to determine the quality of the language spoken on them. The assessors are specialists in philology of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, IPN reports.

There will be monitored the news bulletins, the programs and verbal messages of the presenters. The language of invitees to studios and of persons interviewed within features will not be analyzed. The radio stations that will be monitored were selected depending on the national coverage degree and the share of informative-analytical programs in the broadcast schedule, according to the general program services plan.

The monitoring will be carried out between September and October.
