Broadcasting regulator imposes new fines

The television channel Telemax TV was fined a maximum of 5,400 lei, while the Criuleni-based broadcaster Plus Tv Construct remained without authorization. The penalties were imposed in the June 14 meeting of the Broadcasting Coordination Council, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The channels Pro TV Chisinau, Super TV, TV Dixi, and Euro TV Chisinau were warned publicly for intensely broadcasting foreign commercials, a large number of concerts and a low number of national programs, and for deviating from the broadcast schedule.
In the same meeting, the Broadcasting Coordination Council decided that Nicolae Damaschin will represent the Council at the Diplomatic Conference on the Protection of Audiovisual Performances.
