The Broadcasting Coordination Council decided to monitor the broadcasters that will ask for the renewal of their broadcast licenses. The monitoring will center on the observance of the work plans, IPN reports.
The decision was taken following a request from the channel Noroc TV to extend its broadcast license. Rapporteur Dorina Curnic said the given TV channel hadn’t been monitored since last year because the broadcasting regulator focused mainly on the broadcasters that covered the election campaigns.
The members of the Council agreed to postpone renewing the license of Noroc TV so that this could be monitored during seven days.
