Silvia Radu will manage in the Government the health, labor and social protection sectors, while Nicolae Ciubuc will be in charge of agriculture, regional development and environment. The president of the PDM Vlad Plahotniuc argued that extensive modernization programs will be launched in the two areas, healthcare and agriculture.

Silvia Radu already managed to promise that she will work for Moldova so that the Moldovans enjoy better medical services and social equity... But no one should think that what the Court of Auditors found at Union Fenosa will repeat in the new sphere of activity of Missis Radu.

For his part, President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon said he will accept the resignations of the ministers removed by the PDM. Even if, on his Facebook page, President Dodon wrote he was surprised by the government’s nominations and has a series of questions as to the candidates’ competence, professionalism and political balance, it is rather improbable that a new blockage will be experienced.

One needs real equilibristic skills to be able to explain the “pro-Moldovan shift of Vlad Plahotniuc. Political commentator Vitalie Andrievski said the pro-Moldova course promoted by the Party of Socialists is different from that of the Democrats. The PSRM focuses on the idea of Moldovan language, the support for the church, the fight against homosexuality. Vladimir Plahotniuc has another view that includes good roads, higher pensions and salaries, water supply systems in villages.

Andrei Popov, president of the Institute for Strategic Initiatives, said Europe means first of all values, free courts of law, free press and lack of corruption. “The PDM juggles a lot: yesterday they said they will support only a pro-European candidate in the presidential elections and in the mayoral elections and announced plans to enshrine the European course in the Constitution; now they accuse others of speaking too much about the European integration,” stated Andrei Popov. According to him, this shows that the PDM is not an ideological party and it is very easy for it to maneuver things form tactical viewpoint.

Yes. Things on “planet Moldova” tend to be different than on the rest of Earth. However, despite all kinds of shifts, the Europeans’ disappointment in the Moldovan government is enormous, considers politologist Dionis Cenușa. That’s why, according to him, the Moldova – EU relations will remain deteriorated until the administration is changed as a result of the most democratic elections possible.

In such conditions, everyone has their own goal... The Liberal Party announced the launch of a nationwide campaign entitled “Sign the PL’s Statement on the Union with Motherland Romania”. The collected signatures will be presented to the legislative bodies of Moldova and Romania. The campaign is launched officially on September 23. But… also then, the Alliance for the Centenary will stage in Chisinau a unionist car march. Won’t the roads meet, as in a famous Moldovan song?..

The leader of the PAS Maia Sandu considers that if the upcoming legislative elections are free and fair, the bloc of which the Party “Action and Solidarity” will form part will obtain a majority of seats in Moldova’s Parliament.

The scandal concerning the exclusion of Turkish citizens remains in the focus of the public. Representatives of the Parents Committee of the private Theoretical Lyceum “”Orizont” ask to examine all the circumstances of the September 6 expulsion of seven teachers of Turkish origin who worked at this lyceum and to stop such practices that, according to them, damage the country’s image. The petition that was presented in a news conference at IPN is addressed to Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu, Prime Minister Pavel Filip, head of the Parliament’s commission on national security, defense and public order Eugen Carpov, chief of the Security and Intelligence Service Vasile Botnari and people’s ombudsman Mihail Cotorobai.

The good news is that the Moldovans afford to spend more money on consumption monthly. The average monthly consumption costs of the population in the second quarter of this year were 2,379 lei per person, up 5.9% compared with the same period last year. It is yet bad that about 75% of the costs went on food, dwelling, clothes and footwear. The other costs were incurred for culture, education, recreation, health, presents, trips and other things that form “the world’s corolla of wonders”.
