Briceni woman facing fine after threatening to kill herself

A boozed woman gave rescuers in Briceni quite a headache after she climbed onto a balcony and threatened to commit suicide. Civil Protection spokesperson Dorina Cruc has told Info-Prim Neo the rescue team had to break the door open and tranquilize the woman because she wouldn't give up her suicidal intention. When the woman sobered up, she was told she would have to pay a fine for the incident. In the same town, an unattended toddler aged one and a half year fell into an outdoor toilet. The girl was rescued shortly and fortunately escaped with minor injuries. The body of a 60-year-old man was fished out of the Nistru River near Vadul lui Voda town. The circumstances of his death are yet unclear.
