Bread from Franzeluta and chicken meat for Ciocana kindergartens

The kindergartens working in Chisinau’s Ciocana district will be supplied with bread by the bakery SA Franzeluta and with poultry by another two companies. The district education division signed a contract with the three companies after an auction that brought together 12 bidders, the division’s head Alexandru Stratila has told Info-Prim Neo. The children will no more eat horse meet and pork, but only chicken meat. SRL Elatonus Grup will supply hens, while SRL Pascolina – chicken breast and shanks. Nine of the ten samples taken from the kindergartners of Ciocana district in September turned out to be horse meat, not beef as indicated in invoices. The company Gref Comert that supplied the products was written on the blacklist. The same list includes the company Maria Gutu that provided the kindergartens with bread of a poor quality.
