The boy of one year and a half who fell from the seventh floor of an apartment building situated on Dacia Blvd. in Chisinau on July 18 has chances of survival, Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Evelina Rusu has told Info-Prim Neo. Doctors of the Valentin Ignatenco Hospital called a special reanimation ambulance in order to take the child for tomography. The examination showed the boy did not suffer a skull base fracture that would have endangered his life. At Monday's meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, Health Division head Mihai Moldovanu said the child is now out of danger. The boy was left in the care of his seven-year-old sister for a while. It is now yet known who opened the balcony window and how the child fell. He was lucky to land on loose soil, but suffered serious injuries.
