The General Border Police Inspectorate warns that there is heavy traffic at the Criva-Mamaliga border crosisng point. About 50 cars were waiting in a line at 8am to enter Ukraine. The Border Police recommend the travellers to use border crossing points situated nearby, such as Larga-Kelmențî and PTF Briceni-Rossoșani, IPN reports.
During 24 hours, there were logged 25,880 crossings at frontier posts, primarily when leaving the Republic of Moldova. Among the most popular border crossing points are Leușeni, the Chisinau International Airport and Sculeni.
The border police officers in the period recorded six violations of the border crossing regime and five cases of presentation of forged travel documents. Three foreigners violated the regime of stay in Moldova, while 96 persons didn’t obey the pandemic prophylaxis, prevention and/or control measures.
