The employees and visitors of the Chisinau Appeals Court were today evacuated after a person called the police and said that an explosive device had been planted in the building, IPN reports.
The Chisinau Police Division said the Botanica Police Inspectorate was notified through the 112 emergency service. The call was made by a man. All the specialized services were at the scene immediately.
The police cordoned off the area and evacuated all the employees and citizens who were inside the building.
Recently, a bomb hoax was reported at SA “Moldtelecom”. The caller turned out to be a man aged 20 from Orhei.
The intentional misleading about an act of terrorism is punished with a maximum fine of 42,500 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service or at most two years in jail.
