All those who were inside the Botanica District Court of Chisinau were evacuated after a bomb scare there. All the hearings were postponed and the area was isolated by the police, IPN reports.
According to Natalia Stati, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division, a man called the police and informed that a bomb was placed inside the court. A bomb squad travelled to the scene. No suspect objects have been found so far.
The provision of false information to the police carries a maximum fine of 10,000 lei or two years in jail.
A day ago, the school in Manta village of Cahul district experienced a similar situation. A young man informed the police that the school had been mined. It turned out to be a false bomb scare. The caller was identified.
