A bomb threat was reported at the Parliament, Presidential and Government Buildings. The calls to 112 were made by unknowns. The information was confirmed for IPN by the press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Mariana Bețivu.

Specialized services are carrying out searches at the scene. Asked if the persons were evacuated from the buildings, Mariana Bețivu said all the measures required in such cases are being taken.

“Action and Solidarity” Party president Maia Sandu, who was in the Parliament Building together with other MPs, in a live video on Facebook said they are forced to leave the institution. There were broadcast three messages by which they were informed about the danger and those present in the building were told to go out. They yet question the possibility of a bomb having been planted in the building as this is surrounded by police officers and it is highly improbable that someone could go through them.

According to the police, there were witnessed no other incidents during the protest mounted near the Parliament Building.
