The bomb threat at the Centru branch of the Court of Chisinau municipality of the morning of March 26 turned out to be a hoax. Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Svetlana Scripnic has told IPN that the bomb squad found no explosive devices in the building and the employees could thus resume work in several hours.
A criminal case was started over intentional misinforming about acts of terrorism that carries a penalty of up to two years in jail or fine.
The male caller hasn’t been yet identified.
